Aerius (Star Flash Universe)

Aerius's History

LT Chris Dyer was a Naval Aviator who was on a training mission in the skies above Virginia Beach when the star flash occurred. His F-18 was set into an uncontrolled spin and he ejected at the last minute.

During the ejection the Star flash caused him to fall unconscious and his parachute sailed him aimlessly until he crashed down to earth in a field.

Chris woke up in the hospital a few days later and was told that he didn’t have any serious injuries.

Chris went on to discover that he had become imbued with the ability to shoot powerful cosmic energy blasts from his hands and that he had superhuman physical traits, including flight.

Instead of seeking out training from Mithion or any of the other experienced heroes Chris took on the hero name Aerius, after his pilot call sign, and jumped into the middle of a fight the heroes were having against some invading aliens.

Chris quickly learned that regardless of his new abilities he had a lot to learn. Mithion saved him several times that day and warned him to stay out of their way.

At the end of the battle the hero Sphear confronted Chris and told him how stupid he’d been. Chris immediately attacked and was instantly put in his place by a single punch from the hero Korgon.

When Chris came to he tried to charge Korgon but was shot multiple times with energy bullets by Gunslinger. He finally realized that he was outmatched and apologized.

Mithion offered to train him and introduced him to the android Ridian who would get him familiarized with how everything was done.

Though brash and cocky, Aerius is learning more every day and has proven to be a welcomed addition in the fight against the aliens.
