Timber Wolf In terms of abilities, Wildcat (1942) and Timber Wolf (1964) are DC’s two feral characters most resembling one another. Although Wildcat might edge Timber Wolf’s combat skills, the latter is much more dangerous. Timber Wolf is much larger and exponentially stronger (50 tons vs 800 lbs.). If Wildcat’s top speed wouldn’t exceed that of a wildcat (40 mph), Timber Wolf's also significantly faster (65 mph). More importantly, Wildcat lacks Timber Wolf’s berserker and feral modes. Timber Wolf’s claws even transform into steel-like talons, which he can fire as projectiles and regrow instantly. Timber Wolf’s ability to fly can launch the fight aerially. He has battled Kryptonians and held his own. Wildcat’s nine lives mean that a battle to the death would continue for a while, but I don’t see Timber Wolf falling. He also has enhanced durability.
