The Superhero Database Classification number, or SHDB Class, is a number that represents the overall 'power' of a character. All traits of a character are used for calculating the Classification.
What it DOESN'T mean
This doesn't mean that a higher class would always beat a lower class character. But the bigger the difference in Class is, the more obvious it is who'll win in a fight.
How is this calculated
( INT^1.3 + (STR*0.5 )^2 + (SPE*0.5)^2 + DUR^1.6 + (POW + (SPS*SPL))^2 + COM^1.8 ) ^ TIER
Super Power Score and Level
Every Super Power has a score (SPS) that is used to calculate the Class. Each Super Power also has 3 levels (SPL). The level is set when connecting that Super Power to a character. The level determines the final score, of the Super Power, being used in the calculation.
Source == The Book of Cain
It's a canon novel for Diablo which can be acquired as kindle book at amazon.
Diablo is a demon and one of the 7 parts which remained of Tathamet, the primordial "Dark" Half of the supreme being Anu.
When Anu und Tathamet did battle, this happened:
Quote:
"... The energies unleashed by their impossible fury ignited an explosion of light and matter so vast and terrible that it birthed the very universe all around us ..."
That very universe is in fact a multiverse, because for every player an extremely randomized world with virtually limitless possibilities is created when they start a game. The world randomization is kinda like one of the trademarks of the Diablo franchise. The World Stone is the Eye of Anu , which can create the infinite possible worlds.
Furthermore, there's infinite planes of reality (High 1-B) in Diablo, too, according to another quote from the novel "Book of Cain":
"... It is written in the Book of Long Shadows that the Eternal Conflict shall continue forever across COUNTLESS PLANES OF EXISTENCE ..."
Furthermore, Diablo as the "Lord of Terror" embodies a dimensionless concept (== "Terror") anyways, and like I pointed out already the 7 Evils are parts of Tathamet himself, who should be Outer since he's the "Dark Half" of Anu, who was the sum of all things, the supreme being etc
I summarized a lot of the quotes from the Book of Cain here, which should be good enough to scale the whole verse up to 1-A easily.
