The Superhero Database Classification number, or SHDB Class, is a number that represents the overall 'power' of a character. All traits of a character are used for calculating the Classification.
What it DOESN'T mean
This doesn't mean that a higher class would always beat a lower class character. But the bigger the difference in Class is, the more obvious it is who'll win in a fight.
How is this calculated
( INT^1.3 + (STR*0.5 )^2 + (SPE*0.5)^2 + DUR^1.6 + (POW + (SPS*SPL))^2 + COM^1.8 ) ^ TIER
Super Power Score and Level
Every Super Power has a score (SPS) that is used to calculate the Class. Each Super Power also has 3 levels (SPL). The level is set when connecting that Super Power to a character. The level determines the final score, of the Super Power, being used in the calculation.
So melkor has fallen, but from what? He that that primitive divine state, that angel status, and thus he became a spirit even dissipated, and that once more dissipated to melkor he stayed each time he ended up dissipating with his physical body, all the more so that he ended up dissipating with fear of being killed and injured in combat and also because of that he limped forever after being injured in the fight with fingolfin, his face was scarred after Thorondor's attack, all this already demonstrates that melkor was not that one great and powerful spirit that he was in the beginning, there is also a great tolkien text called Ósanwe-kenta that deals with telepathy in middle earth, the text refers to the teachings of Pengolodh (the sage of the elven lore). Vinyar Tengar N. 39 Ósanwe-kenta: “Only Melkor among the Great ones became at last imprisoned in corporeal form; but this was for the use he made in his purpose of making the Lord of the Incarnate, and of the great males he made in visible body. He spared his powers in the way that he sisitives also became, in the end, in support of him, a weakened thing, used by the same and capable of restoring he had fallen. Not even his visible form could control, so that his hideousness could no longer be visible to the evil in his mind, and he could more visible. So it was also with some of his greatest servants, like these last days: they became attached to the ways in which they performed their most deeds, and if those bodies were changed or destroyed, they were nullified, that they would rebuild an A. appearance of their former dwellings, with which they can continue the evil courses begun. (J. R. R. Tolkien – Osánwe-kenta, published in Vinyar Tengwar No. 39 in Jul/1998)
